About Aiglon International School
Located in the heart of the Swiss Alps in the small village of Chesières, The Aiglon International School was founded by John Corlette in 1949 who believed in the importance of a balanced holistic education. The School’s curriculum is designed to ensure that every aspect of a student’s intellectual development is supported. Alongside the internationally recognized IGCSE and International Baccalaureate programs, as well as diverse range of subjects such as Art or Languages.

The education given at Aiglon is a balanced development of the mind, body and spirit. Three mornings a week, the whole school meets for a 20-minute meditation session. The students (54% boys and 46% girls) are coming from more than build close relationships with the teaching staff through a tutorial system that offers individualized counselling and guidance throughout their entire academic experience.
With students coming from over 50 nations worldwide, the Aiglon School offers a real unique environment. This will helps students learn about tolerance towards others and acceptance for others cultures and languages.
To facilitate the integration of each students, they are required to participate in different activities during the courses of the year such as hiking, biking, kayaking, rock-climbing, ski and other outdoors activities.
The School have all the latest technological tools at the student disposal to ensure the best learning experiences. The IB score obtained in 2017 for graduated students was 34 points.
The Aiglon International School have several boarding houses for boys and girls of different age. The House parents at the School are making sure that every new student feels just like at home. It’s an environment conducive at making new friends and having fun
