Founded in 1889, Institut auf dem Rosenberg is one of the oldest and most prestigious private schools in the world. Rosenberg is a boutique artisanal institution, which offers an unmatched learning environment that pioneers individuality and fosters natural curiosity.
The school educates students aged 6 to 19 hailing from over 50 nations. Their alumni network comprises scientists, politicians, business leaders, and international royalty.
Rosenberg’s state-of-the-art facilities include a Multi Media Center, Future Park, the Mario J. Molina Science Center featuring an industry level science laboratory, recreational spaces and sports facilities including a Health & Fitness Club and and a Golf training facility, all set within the 25 hectares of stunning parklands.

Academics and Boarding

Rosenberg takes a holistic, and entrepreneurial approach to education and offers its students a myriad of study options. International Baccalaureate (IB), German International Baccalaureate (GIB), American High School Diploma, Advanced Placement (HSD & AP’s) and GCE A-Levels. Students receive an Individual Development Plan (IDP) and are taught in classes of 8. Consequently, Rosenburg believes their students are some of the best academic performers in the world.
There are 13 classical art-nouveau villas on campus which along with classrooms feature dorms. The Dorm rooms at Rosenberg are modern and tasteful with elegant furniture and en-suite bathrooms. Furthermore, Rosenberg believes that meals provided should be in line with their educational philosophy. The Michelin-Star trained Executive Chef focuses on a healthy and well-rounded diet, in accordance with seasonal produce available locally throughout the year.

Extracurricular Activities

Students participate in Model UN conferences with leading universities such as ETH in Zurich and Oxford University. Alternatively they work at Switzerland’s leading hotel The Chedi Andermatt. Students also immerse in creative thinking through workshops with professionals from around the world and professors from leading universities. There are also many cultural trips in and outside of Europe.
