Located in the Swiss Alps, in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, Leysin American School (LAS) was founded by Fred and Sigrid Ott. Today it is the family third generation that manages the school. Students aged from 3 to 18 come from more than 50 countries worldwide to attend the school academic program.

Education from grade 7 through 12 is given at LAS cumulating in the International Baccalaureate or the US High School diploma program.
Average size for classes are about 12. They can be a minimum of to a maximum of 24 per class.
