About St. George’s International School
With over 60 nationalities represented, St. George’s International is able to create a diverse and inspiring community for young students. Since its opening in 1927, the school has built on its proud and honorable traditions in creating a center of excellence.
The school offers both Boarding and Day school programs that blend together to enable the students to experience a unique and vibrant learning experience.
St. George’s International School is located in the residential area of Clarens, overlooking the Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps, close to the city of Montreux.
The school’s academic programs is divided in 4 steps based on the student’s age. The early learning is for kids aged from 18 to 36 months. Followed by the junior program aiming at teaching kids aged between 3 and 10 years old. The middle is for the kids aged from 10 to 14 and finally the senior which regroups students aged from 14 to 18.
Children who boards at St. George’s are coming from all around the world. 25 nationalities are represented. They learn to live and work in groups and teams adapted to their age, needs and interests. The school’s aim to accompany students all the way to top universities in the USA, UK and further afield. The school’s staff, tutors and teachers are there to ensure effective monitoring of student’s progresses. After school time and on weekends, the kids can enjoy plenty of activities including sports and cultural expeditions and trips around Switzerland and Europe.
